The role
The Warehouse Assistant plays a vital part in supporting the smooth operation of the warehouse.
A day in the life
You will be involved in a variety of tasks including picking, dispatching, receiving and storing goods efficiently and accurately, utilising computer technology for these processes, while maintaining a clean and organised workspace and always adhering to Health and Safety standards.
About you
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage but not essential.
- Proven IT skills
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a team-oriented mindset.
- Good communication skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
-Current driving licence
What you’ll get
This is a full-time position based at our Frome Depot: Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 17.30pm (with 60 minutes unpaid lunch).
- Starting salary £12.71 per hour , rising to £13.57 per hour after successful completion of probation period.
- Staff Discount (after probation period)
- 28 days holiday per annum (including the usual 8 bank holidays)
- Free parking on site.
