We are delighted to reveal our brand-new logo and strapline.
Customers will see the modern new look gradually introduced over the coming months, which will initially sit alongside our much loved and familiar ‘Melksham Motor Spares’ logo.
Managing Director, Phil Dodd, explained the reason behind the change, “As we have continued to grow and expand the products and services we can offer, we felt it was time to reflect this in a new, modern logo and strapline. We are so frequently referred to by the abbreviation ‘MMS’ that we felt it was now the right time to recognise this in our logo. The motivation to change our strapline from ‘The Region’s Premier Motor Factor’ to the new ‘More than just car parts...’ comes from the ever-increasing range of products and services we offer to support our customers; helping to keep them compliant and at the forefront of the ever-changing landscape of the automotive aftermarket.”
Our large retail facility on Bowerhill also sells an expanded range of products far beyond ‘just car parts’ and includes an extensive tool selection, towing essentials, motoring consumables and some unexpected products too such as garden strimmer’s and wireless EarPods! Finance Director, Alison Cook, is keen for people to realise what an extensive range of products is available from the shop, “A lot of people see our vans everywhere and believe we are just a distributor, but our large shop on Bowerhill is open to everyone and stocks everything for the motorist, plus a large range of other products. We are a local, independent company who have been in the town for over 50 years and it’s important for communities to support their local businesses. We do, of course, also have the largest stockholding of car parts in the region too!”
